  1. FONTS #1 DISK
  2. =============

  5. The four drawers on this disk contain ready-to-use fonts for use by any
  6. program that reads fonts from the WorkBench disk. There are several ways
  7. to use these fonts.
  8.  
  9.    1) Copy the fonts from a drawer to an empty formatted disk.
  10.        ie. Format a blank disk & rename to FONTS
  11.            EXECUTE MAKEVIDEO     (This will copy the VIDEO drawer to RAM:
  12.                                   and setup to copy it to your FONTS disk)
  13.            COPY RAM: TO FONTS: ALL
  14.  
  15.       (Note that a disk named "FONTS" placed in any drive will be used
  16. automatically by programs such as DPAINT II, but all the fonts have to be in
  17. the root directory and not in a drawer like they are on the FONTS#1 disk)
  18.       (Also note that doing this will require 1 disk for EACH drawer.)

  20.    2) Or you can use CLI to reassign the default fonts directory:
  21.           ie. assign fonts: FONTS#1:UNUSUAL
  22.

  24.       (This could be done in your startup-sequence file if you want it to be
  25. done automatically.)

  29. The Pictures on this disk are samples of these new fonts.

  31. Also note that there are several utilities available from the CLI to use
  32. with these fonts.
